Step-by-step
1. Create an account at zapier.com
Already have one? Simply log in.
2. Click + Create in the top-left
Select Zaps to start a new automation.
3. Choose your trigger and action
Search for the app you want to connect with Jaicob (e.g., Gmail, Google Forms, Typeform, Slack).
4. Generate an API key in Jaicob
Go to Settings
Click on API & Integrations
Click ‘Create new API key’
Give it a name (e.g., ‘Zapier connection’)
Enable read and write permissions
5. Connect your Jaicob account in Zapier
During your trigger or action setup:
Click ‘Choose account’
Select ‘Connect a new account’
Paste your Jaicob API key
Confirm and test the connection

Name your Zap clearly, like “New candidate in Jaicob → Slack notification”.
