Creating vacancies with the Copilot

In Jaicob, you can create new vacancies in seconds using the Copilot in the top-left corner. No need to fill out separate fields, just type your request and the AI takes care of the rest.

Here’s how:

  1. Open the Copilot

  2. Type a clear command, such as:

Example prompts:

  • “Create a vacancy for a Frontend Developer in Amsterdam with a salary of €4000 per month.”

  • “Write a vacancy for a sales rep in Utrecht and link it to client ‘Phillips International’.”

  • “Generate a vacancy based on this profile for a senior recruiter.”

The AI will automatically generate a full job description and fill in the relevant fields (such as location, salary, client, etc.).

Editing a job description after it’s created

You can edit the vacancy in two ways:

1. Let the Copilot rewrite the job description automatically

  • Open the Copilot

  • Select the vacancy you want to update

  • Give an instruction such as:

    • “Make this vacancy shorter and more to the point”

    • “Add a section about growth opportunities”

    • “Rewrite this in a more informal tone”

The AI will instantly create a new version based on your input—no manual edits needed.

2. Edit manually

Prefer to make the changes yourself?

  • Go to ‘Jobs’ in the left menu

  • Click on the vacancy you want to edit

  • Click ‘Edit’ in the top right

  • Update the job description and scroll down to adjust fields like location, hours, and salary range

Copy a job from another site and improve it

Found a job description elsewhere?

Just paste it into the Copilot and say something like:

“Improve this job description and make it more appealing.”

The AI will rewrite the text clearly and persuasively.

Linking a vacancy to a client

Want to link the vacancy to a client right away? Just include the client’s name in your prompt:

“Create a vacancy for a Java Developer and link it to client Siemens.”

The AI will automatically assign it to the correct client.

Tip: Use Memory for a consistent format

Want all your job descriptions to follow a fixed structure (e.g., “About the company”, “Responsibilities”, “What we offer”)?

Go to Settings > Memory and create a new memory.

Type for example:

“Always generate vacancies in this format”

Then paste a sample job you like.

The AI will use that structure for all future vacancies.
