How candidates are created in Jaicob
There are multiple ways a candidate can enter your Jaicob workspace.
When a candidate applies for a vacancy, they are automatically created in the system. You do not need to take any action. Their profile is generated based on the information they submitted.
Importing candidates via the import feature
Need to bulk add candidates? Use Jaicob’s import feature.
Steps:
Go to Settings > Import
Upload a CSV file with candidate data
Map the CSV fields (e.g., name, phone number, email)
Upload the corresponding PDF CVs
Jaicob automatically matches CVs to candidates using their email address
The AI enriches each profile using the content from the CV (work history, education, etc.)
Manually adding a candidate via prompt
If you want to add a candidate yourself, you can use the prompt window. Simply type a sentence like:
“Create a candidate named Peter Smit, phone number 0612345678, and email address peter.smit@mail. com.”
Jaicob’s AI will instantly create a new candidate profile with these details.
This is the fastest way to enter candidates without filling out forms.
Adding a candidate from a CV
You can also add a candidate by uploading their CV directly into the prompt window.
Upload the file into the prompt input area by clicking the paperclip icon.
Then type something like: “Create a candidate from this.”
Jaicob will read the CV, extract key information like name, experience and contact details, and create a structured candidate profile.
